It is a great loss for all beings. His Eminence Margom Tsering Tashi Rinpoche is one of the main teachers of Komang Rinpoche. He was one of the best disciples of Doltrul Pema Khyentse Dorje, the previous incarnation of Komang Rinpoche and so, Margom Rinpoche always took our Rinpoche as a Yangsi (lit. “reincarnation”) of His own root Guru.

He was 88 years old when he died and remained for three days in Thukdam. It’s a great loss! but in Dharmic ways, He is just changing his body, so Margom Rinpoche’s mind is always connected with Komang Rinpoche!

“Hearing sad news about the passing away of His Eminence Margom Tsering Tashi Rinpoche on 24th day of 6th month according to Tibetan calendar (20th of August 2022). I had decided to pay a visit to Nepal to obtain a glimpse of his sacred corpse. But, as per requests from the friends and devotees in Dolpo to bring back the sacred corpse of His Eminence to the land of Dolpo, we requested Lama Nyima Rinpoche and others in Nepal who agreed to bring it to Dolpo. 

On 4th day of 9th month in Tibetan calendar (19th of October 2022), the precious sacred corpse reached Dolpo and was ardently greeted by a golden chain of around 300 devotees. Lamas and Tulkus held sacramental feast for three continues weeks.

Once again, we are going to conclude this commemoration offerings from coming 1st day of 3rd month in Tibetan calendar (21st of April 2023).”
