In 2013 we established the HKH - Himalayan Komang Home project in Kathmandu. After ten years of service the building facilities were in a poor state and needed urgent attention. We wanted to celebrate the 10th anniversary of our home with a full renovation work to give the better conditions we can afford to our children.
His Eminence Margom Rinpoche, one of the main teachers of Komang Tulku Rinpoche, entered paranirvana on 20th of August 2022
On 12th of June 2022, seven students of HKH finished happily their secondary studies. Five of them came back to Komang village for six months and returned to Kathmandu to receive their final results in December 2022.
In 2020, during the worst of the pandemic, the situation in Kathmandu was getting worse and worse. Many people were getting sick, some were dying and there were rumors of a total lockdown. We were very worried and had to decide quickly what to do.
During covid pandemic in 2020, the HKH family had to escape from Kathmandu right before lockdown without time to prepare for the long trip. After a very hard and dangerous journey they finally arrived safely to Komang Village
His Holiness Dudjom Yangsi Rinpoche, Sangye Pema Shepa passed away the 14th day of the tibetan lunar 12 month, February 14th, 2022. He was the reincarnation of Dudjom Rinpoche Jigdral Yeshe Dorje the founder of the New Treasure School (Dudjom Tersar).
